MW3 Collection 1 and 2 Get Discounted By 50% Starting July 3rd For 1 Week on Xbox

If you didn’t pick up Collection 1 or 2 for Modern Warfare 3 yet, there’s a sweet deal going down next week that’ll get you the DLC at a discounted price.

As part of a Xbox Live promotion, both of Modern Warfare 3′s downloadable map packs will be available at 50% off from July 3rd through July 9th. That’s just 600 MSP ($7.50/£5.00) per piece.

Modern Warfare 3′s Collection 1 map pack includes multiplayer maps: Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box, and two Spec Ops missions: Black Ice and Negotiator. While Collection 2 brings even more to the table with multiplayer maps: Foundation, Sanctuary, and Oasis, plus Spec Ops missions: Iron Clad and Kill Switch. There’s also two maps for Face Off mode: Lookout and Getaway.

Black Ops’ four map packs are also part of next week’s XBL promotion. So if you never got the chance to purchase the awesome map packs for Black Ops; First Strike, Escalation, Annihilation and Rezurrection, then you should do so at the 50% discount from July 3rd.
