Modern Warfare 3 to Get 15 Prestige Levels Soon, Live on PC Now
If you’re one of the many, many gamers who are aiming to reach max-Prestige in Modern Warfare 3, that task is about to take 50% longer!
As it stands currently, you are required to slog through 800 ranks and 10 levels of Prestige to reach the end of the road in Modern Warfare 3. That’s about to increase to 1200 ranks and 15 Prestige levels when five new Prestige levels are added to the game “soon”, making the road to max-Prestige 50% longer.
These changes are already live on the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 and “coming soon” for both console versions.
Added 400 new ranks of 5 new Prestige levels in Modern Warfare 3 on PC in latest patch. Expect the same on consoles soon for everyone! #MW3

Kinda sucks because alot of us have been prestige 10 for abit, golded out most of my weapons but now it doesnt matter cause im going to lose all that work again, plus XP wise alot of my challenges are maxed for like total kills with a weapon. So that means it will tske me longer to lvl, sweet………. Nothing like for the last month wasting XP because im already max lvl. Thanks 420

Why is everyone getting butt hurt?
Nobody is making you prestige.
Also, the reason they are adding more prestiges is because people got to tenth to quickly with prestige tokens and double XP.
Stop being no lifers who want to be top level first, or higher than everyone else.
I’m glad there is gonna be 5 new prestiges. It gives me something to do after tenth.

im pretty sure the reason isn’t that there are more prestige’s but that they waited to add them now they have been sitting at 10th for months wasting xp that could have been used to get them to 20, IDK how its called being a no life loser to want to finish something you started.

i agree totally, i got to tenth prestige level 80 in 10 days, im now on 20 days, id be 20th prestige or close by now already, i have 9 or 10 gold guns and lots of challenges done, if i prestige now i lose all my challenges and guns which is ridiculous, why do this?? never before has this been done… silly if you ask me

C’mon, 10 Prestige’s are already enough, you should just fix the LAG Comp, Nerf the FMG9′s even more so that you can actually see people using any other secondary along with Type 95 and ACR
Fix what you have first and then add a few more things or just make the Double XP and Double Weapon XP last forever, like Regular Package that you can only pick once, you can even make it 100 levels instead of 80 and add new guns.
AND PLEASE TAKE THE DEATHSTREAKS OUT!!!

The deathstreaks in this game are ridiculous. I feel this game was geared more toward bad players with the deathstreaks and super overpowered weapons, and not to mention support killstreaks.

seriously what do you play like 1 match a week ? i made it to 9th prestige and got reset went to lvl 80 again and stayed there for about a month and have a second account around lvl 40. how in the hell are you only a 5th ?

lots of search and destroy can do that to you, if you play modes like that then its leveling takes quite a bit longer.

ARE they still gonna reset the ones that did the prestige token glitch or no more because its already patch and you guys are putting more prestige because the ones who did the glitch didn’t play fair. so yea are you still gonna reset still or gonna give them 0 prestige token glitch. dood just give 0 prestige token glitch to those who did the glitch so they won’t rank up fast if there gonna rank from 11th to 12th prestige. thanks if youre reading this game developers from MW3.

I can tell you EXACTLY why they are doing this. Most hard-core gamers are already up to their 8th – 10th Prestiges already – finished or about to finish – and their first map pack will be coming out in two weeks for the few Elite members who gave them an additional $50 to join or in about a month and a half for everyone else who will have to pay $15 for each of 4 map packs – or another $60 total on top of the $60 plus tax paid to buy the game. Had I been finished at 10th prestige, I wouldn’t have bought any additional crap and would have just moved on to the next game, but now by prolonging the agony of finishing this pitiful excuse for a COD game, they are basically forcing us to buy all their additional add-on content. It’s all about Activision’s greed.

This is them dumbest thing ive ever seen this game come up with. Sure its not a big deal having 15 prestiges but adding them in a dlc? Dumb. Alot of people are already at 10th prestige and have used up the majority of the kill and headshot experience already which is where most of the experience comes from it won’t even be worth going another 5 at that point.

I realize that I don’t have to prestige past level 10, but I was looking forward to reaching the ‘end’ and then just chilling out to focus on maxing out all weapons and challenges before the next game. However, now that 10 is not the ‘end’, my competitiveness will strong arm me to keep prestiging. Everyone’s gaming preference is different, but mine is reaching the final level and then achieving 100% completion. Oh well, I’m still a happy gamer.

i am on prestige 14 level 65 buy the week end il be on 15 prestige its easy to rank up and i know the way my secret do the challenges and keep fighting buy nexed friday ill be on 15 prestige level 80 didnt take me long i hope thay bring in 16 to 20 prestige soon and hurry up about it thanks flashsuperking12

I totally agree 20 levels is bs and the same emblem. I wasted my time on a level 10 cause i thought it was the end now i gotta go up a bunch more levels. Thought i was finally prestieged all the way, so pissed total bs.
