Modern Warfare 3 May Get Shipment, Rust, More Weapons Balancing
Infinity Ward’s new community managers have put a request in to their MP design team asking for some of the communities “most desired updates” to be addressed.
The most desired updates are community playlist updates, more weapons re-balancing and, most interestingly, the addition of the classic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map, Shipment, and Modern Warfare 2‘s Rust into Modern Warfare 3′s new Face Off playlist. Old-skool Call of Duty gamers will have fond, albeit hectic, memories of Shipment – the tiny map set around a bunch of shipping containers and not much else.
Don’t take any of the details to heart because at the moment they have only been submitted to the MP team as requests. Here’s hoping for a piece of Shipment, though.
We just put in some requests to our MP design team which could lead to some of your most desired updates to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3!
Here is what we suggested:
Community Playlist Updates:
-Desert eagles in One in the chamber and All or nothing
-Change infected weapons
-AoN & OIC separated from gun game
-Add community playlist leaderboards (aon, infected, dropzone)Weapons Complaints:
-Guns like the M16, Model 1887, PM9, and the MP5 need more love.
-Riot Shield:
–Does not have master and veteran challenges to carry over prestiges
–The hit deflection for the shield, especially on the back.Other:
-Final Stand give the player putting the player in final stand the full kill? (if a teammate finished the second chance player off).
-Remake shipment/rust for Face Off

i think you guys like make bullet damage better because how in the world a knife kill faster the the bullet

bullet damage is fine, if guns killed any faster it would be like everyones gun was a shotgun or sniper, what they need to do is lower knife damage

I think lower the knife melee speed rather than the damage

Actually the knife needs to be pulled out, as in having the player first push a button to pull out the knife then melee, eliminating the panic knife, and making the game more enjoyable

I think you should bring back the rpd. That is my favorite gun from all the call of duties. And I also think since the ak74u is available to use in spec tops it should be an online multi player gun too. Great job on face off btw.. I love it so much. Its more fun than playing game battles

Oh gosh, me and my dad always played one v one on shipment, and I personally loved rust because it was ironically the first map I got a Tactical Nuke… it was also the last map… But, I would love to see these in MW3 because I rocked these maps!

They should bring back a few more cod4 maps like bog and wet work and even terminal from mw2 and I hope they make shipment more than just a face off map I want to play some good lol headquarters on it like the good lol days miss my cod4

It makes me happy to see that they are returning these epic maps to the series, and on top of that, more guns. it would be awesome if they added more guns to the multiplayer as well (the RPD in particular). This will all make Face Off much funner.

Please fix strep pro!!! Make their a perk that protects you from it for example in mw2 you got silent footsteps as an addition to ninja like it was a bonus for getting it pro and now on this game it’s a whole separate perk and if it is sitreps bonus for pro should not be able to undermine the whole perk so plssssss fix it

hey im really a fan of modern warfare, an i honestly love what your coming up with, but i would really love if you put shipment 6vs6 with all game-modes available. i really won’t mind if you put selected kill streak. you could go as back on the days ( UAV – precision airstrike – attack helicopter ) please if you can, make it like this. keep up the good work #mw3 #LvUp.

They need more guns. This game being a conflict revolving around Russia and the US barely has any guns from Russia which is supposed to be a top weapon manufacturer. The only guns in the game that is Russian made is the AK, Dragunov, Pecheneg, and the PP90M1. Everything else is either American, or German made. British guns are lacking a bit too. I just think for this to be World War 3 it’s more like a gun show for German and American weapons.
