[Extended] Modern Warfare 3 Double Weapon XP Weekend Starts August 17th

[Update] Infinity Ward sent out a tweet today (08/20) to inform Modern Warfare 3 players that double weapon XP has been extended until the end of the week. Happy days!

[Original story] August’s Modern Warfare 3 content drops went live for Premium Elite members on the PlayStation 3 today, adding another two multiplayer maps and one Spec Ops mission to the line up. To celebrate the arrival of the DLC, Modern Warfare 3 double weapon XP will be going live tomorrow, August 17th at 10am PST for all platforms. No word was given on when it will end but it’ll likely last through the weekend until Monday.

Grab those weapons that need ranking up and jump on in for some 2x XP.
