Modded Modern Warfare 3 Lobbies Start to Appear on Xbox
If you’ve spent time playing Infinity Ward’s previous game, Modern Warfare 2, chances are that you, or someone you know, has landed in a ‘modded lobby’. Now, unfortunately, these modded lobbies have started to pop up in Modern Warfare 3.
In these modded lobbies you could run into things like people with unlimited ammo, god mode, speed hacks, and even ‘walking’ IMS’s, AC130′s and Reapers (see video embedded below)! Although some may find it annoying getting raped by people that your bullets do no damage to while they shoot you with AC130 rounds, they won’t effect you like landing in a ‘de-rank’ lobby!
Should you land in a de-rank lobby you will lose all of your progress. Everything! Not only will you get put back to rank 1, you’ll lose all of your Emblems, Titles, and everything else you’ve unlocked. Gone. Leaving all the time you’ve spent on the game wasted.
The best way to avoid landing in these modded lobbies is to not accept game invites or join Private Matches from any player you don’t know and trust. Infinity Ward are aware of the issue and are no-doubt working on a patch to fix things up.

WOW!! MW3 hasn’t ever been out 6 months and were already getting Modded. Lobbys???once again IW delivers epic FAILURE on keeping promises and legit gameplay. Ohh well maybe MW4. Will be less a joke….

Why am i not suprised? But nobody panic! Im sure they will handle it as quickly as they handled the spawn issues -___-

They’ll fix this like they did the other problems….by adding Prestige levels 16-20.

Modders are no doubt very pathetic. I would hate to have anything happen to my account if I were to fall into one of those lobbies. Everyone is entitled to their own views. Every online game is capable of being hacked or modded. There isnt a single one out there that is safe. You have to realize that there millions of users playing COD games daily. With that there are even more and more hackers or modders than any other title. I have played COD games since day one. The amount of hacking and modding hasnt gotten any worse. In fact the percentage has dropped compared to the amount of online users that are now playing these games. No matter what game you play there are always cheaters. When you are playing with millions of players you are going to see more cheaters than if you were only playing with thousands of players.
There is no way to please every single player that plays the game. So tell me Cod4bestcodever, what is wrong with the spawning in this game? The problem isnt the spawning its the fact that everyone is getting better at the game and understanding the spawns more. No matter what they do there will always be the chance of spawn trapping. Its part of the game.

Seriously?!? Come on people are you really expecting a completely hack proof game?! Impossible and every single one of you know this. If you think the maps suck or are too small or have issues with spawning then play another game. That is the great thing about video game systems….they have more than one game available and hopefully at least one of those games will please your picky asses. Bottom line is if you don’t like the game don’t play it. That will get the attention of IW more quickly than posting simple minded complaints. Plus the way you talk and the language used will get your ideas or comments discarded before they are even considered. Grow up!
