July’s Modern Warfare 3 Content Drops For Xbox Elite Premium Detailed, Dated

July Modern Warfare 3 Content Drops for Xbox 360

July’s Modern Warfare 3 content drops for premium Elite members on Xbox 360 has been detailed and dated today. This time around, players have 2 multiplayer maps and one Spec Ops mission to look forward to.

On July 17th premium Elite members will be able to download multiplayer maps Decommission, which takes place in graveyard of rotting ocean liners, and Offshore, which is set on an oil rig that is “rich with sniper perches”. These are ‘regular’ multiplayer maps – we won’t be getting any more Face Off maps in this year’s season of content.

Then we have a new Spec Ops mission called Vertigo which tasks you with dispatching helicopters and enemies alike from a rooftop vantage point on the Oasis hotel.

There’s also a bonus map that’ll be available for free to everyone – Terminal. The fan-favorite map from Modern Warfare 2 will be making its way to the Xbox for premium Elite members on July 17th. It’ll be available for anyone to download on the Xbox the next day… for free.

Here’s an ubiased opinion from a gamer who has played every system, ever, since The Commodore 64/Atari days… I love PS3′s interface, graphic capabilities, controller design and media storage… But their titles are often too inconsistent to gamble on… I was forced to buy an Xbox 360 because Madden was so horrible a few years ago… It was a complete joke… Then I Became so frustrated with the Sony online service while playing MW2 that I switched to Xbox permanently… I was a little concerned about the Xbox live fees but quickly realized that it was well worth the $5/month… Every title is consistent… Every online game plays smoothly and is patched quickly as needed… I’m so tired of hearing people cry about Xbox getting these releases before PS3… You get what you pay for! Stop being such a cheap crybaby and go buy an Xbox and COD elite subscription… you can even buy an adapter to use your PS3 controller for a seamless transition… I wish Sony would focus on gaming so I could use mine again… Until then it will sit and collect dust and serve as a $300 external hard drive for my music and movies… Anyone who disagrees is in denial or full of shit… I have no reason to advocate one over the other except my own personal experience… If u’re frustrated with the Ps3, make the move to Xbox and you will be happy that you did… Just sayin’
