August’s Modern Warfare 3 Content Drops For PlayStation 3 Elite Members Dated

August’s Modern Warfare 3 content drops (drops 16-18) for premium Elite members on the PlayStation 3 got a release date today. The two multiplayer maps and one Spec Ops mission will be released on August 16th, according to a Tweet from the official Infinity Ward Twitter account.

The multiplayer maps are called ‘Offshore’, which is set on an oil rig that is “rich with sniper perches”, and ‘Decommission’, which takes place in graveyard of rotting ocean liners. The new Spec Ops mission is called ‘Vertigo’ and tasks you with dispatching helicopters and enemies alike from a rooftop vantage point on the Oasis hotel.
